Fraxel C02

CELLUDERM Fraxel C02 is a revolutionary laser treatment that helps you to remove years from your appearance.
Fraxel is the pioneer of “fractional photothermolysis”, a technology in which thousands of microscopic laser columns treat a fraction of the skin at a time, leaving the surrounding tissue untouched.

This promotes rapid healing by stimulating your body’s own natural healing process and collage production. The result? Fraxel reveals your natural radiance by replacing the old and damaged cells with fresh, glowing, healthy skin.

Fraxel Skin Resurfacing – Fraxel Advanced Laser – An efficacious and award-winning treatment to help your skin return to its youthful glow. Reveal your naturally radiant skin with clinically-proven

The original fractional skin resurfacing treatment

Fraxel revolutionised skin resurfacing technology with a laser that is suitable for all skin types, offers decreased recovery time and reduced risk of adverse events. Fractional resurfacing creates thousands of microscopic treatment zones, inducing the skin’s natural wound-healing response to renew the skin and enhance cellular turnover. With Fraxel patients of all skin types can see a noticeable improvement after as little as one treatment. Fraxel is a corrective laser that can help:
The number of treatments is tailored to your concerns and skincare desires. In recent studies, consumers reported visible improvements after 4-6 treatments, though many patients choose to have routine treatments as part of their overall skincare regimen. A skin consultation is suggested to discuss a personalised treatment regimen.
The results of treatment are immediate and progressive with additional treatments. A few days after the treatment, the skin will start to feel softer, look brighter and show more even tone. Results can last for months depending on age, skin condition and how you protect your skin.

CELLUDERM C02 is a gentle laser that refreshes your skin from the inside out. The laser energy creates microscopic treatment zones in your skin, replacing damaged skin with healthy, younger looking tissue.

In the skin, water is the primary absorber (chromophore) of the laser wavelengths used by Clear + Brilliant is suitable for most skin types.

Celluderm C02 includes an Intelligent tracking system that senses skin contact with the treatment tip rollers, and the motion of the tip relative to the skin surface. This feature ensures safety and uniform treatment delivery.

Your treatment practitioner will perform a pre-treatment consultation and decide, together with you, if Clear + Brilliant is adequate for you and your unique treatment needs.

Not all individuals will necessarily react the same way to the laser treatment.

The following (but not limited to) contraindications are routine for many laser treatments and may also be associated with Celluderm C02 Fraxel  Your practitioner will perform a pre-screening and request you to sign a consent including these (but not limited to) contraindications:

  • diagnosis of a condition that may compromise the immune system, such as HIV, lupus, scleroderma, and/or systemic infections,
  • known sensitivity to light or if photosensitising agents/medications are being taken,
  • systemic steroids (e.g. prednisone, dexamethasone), which should be rigorously avoided prior to and throughout the course of treatment,

For treatments associated with Clear + Brilliant, new skin (epithelium) will start to form within 24 hours but will remain covered by the old superficial layer of the skin (stratum corneum). This new skin formation usually lasts about 4 days, but can be longer for some skin types. During that time, the skin’s natural exfoliation process will reveal the newly repaired skin tissue. You can protect it by avoiding aggressive mechanical exfoliation and by applying moisturisers and sunscreen frequently.
Sun exposure before and during treatment can increase the risk of unwanted pigmentation. After treatment the skin is more sensitive to the sun, which can increase the risk of unwanted pigmentation and sunburn. Post-treatment, individuals should plan to use a high SPF sunscreen on a regular basis. Ideally, a broad-spectrum sunscreen should be applied containing a physical sun block (either or both zinc oxide or titanium dioxide) with a sun protection factor of 30 or above. Applying sunscreen helps maintain good results. In general, direct sunlight avoidance is highly recommended as well as wearing sun-protective clothing (i.e. a wide-brimmed hat) whenever possible.

Most skin care products can be used the day after treatment. Avoid the use of retinoids and topical corticosteroids for 1 – 2 weeks before and after treatment. Avoid systemic steroids (i.e., prednisone, dexamethasone) throughout the course of the Celluderm C02 treatment.
